What You'll Do:

We're looking for a passionate Senior Assistant Producer to take charge of live programming, particularly Matchday Live. You'll oversee and assist gallery APs & EAs, providing training and development, while acting as the key liaison between Producers, Directors, and studio managers.

This role involves coordinating with live football programming, sharing resources, and ensuring gallery staff are well-prepared with all key elements and backup programming on EVS & TX. You'll work closely with directors, and may even direct shows when needed. In addition, you'll manage content storage with EVS & media management, aid in booking EVS operators, collaborate with the Digital team for additional content, lead debriefs, and ensure compliance with onscreen guidelines.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
• To lead VT Coordinating on Live programming with a particular focus on Matchday Live.
• To oversee and assist gallery APs & EAs within VT.
• Upskill other APs & EAs, providing training sessions & development plans.
• To act as the liaison between the Producers, Directors & studio managers on programming – with a strong focus on planning for Matchday Live.
• To work closely with directors, shadowing & be able to direct certain shows if called upon.
• To act as the liaison between programming & live football, working closely to share resources.
• To ensure gallery staff are aware of all the key elements and backup programming available on EVS & TX.
• To liaise with EVS & media management to oversee storage of content.
• To aid with the booking of EVS ops and delegate VT responsibilities
• To liaise with the Digital team to ensure any additional content is delivered.
• To organise and lead debriefs, offering constructive feedback to colleagues
• Responsible for adhering to onscreen compliance guidelines across all MDL output.
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

You Will Have The Following Strengths:
• Proven experience in VT coordinating for live football shows.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop team members effectively.
• Experience in leading a small team.
• Strong planning skills with a focus on collaborating closely with EVS operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of EVS functionality.
• Knowledge and experience in directing studio shows.
• Background in live or magazine-style TV production.
• Familiarity with digital workflows.
• Proficiency in non-linear editing systems.
• Ability to motivate and mentor junior team members.
• Knowledge of the creative VT process and experience in feature production.
• Strong general sports knowledge.
• Excellent understanding of the Premier League.

• Editorially exact and excellent knowledge of all things Premier League.
• Great communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate and skilled across various essential production software and applications.
• Excellent customer focus skills (representing the face of the company/programme to the public/potential contributors).
