What You'll Do:
Premier League Productions (PLP) are proud to be the production partner to the most watched football league in the world. Globally, we broadcast to 190 out of 193 UN member states, serve over 100 broadcast partners and our work is available to over 800 million homes.
Our wide array of high quality output includes live matches, digital content, studio shows, promos and magazine programming, all delivered across multiple platforms.
We are seeking the world's most exciting creative talent to join the in-house PLP Creative team, delivering best-in-class creative and cutting-edge projects that engage and inspire Premier League fans across the globe. We have an opening for a Music Supervisor to join our team.
You will be working proactively to make music a key part of PLP's personality, fearlessly creative and passionate about elite football. You will need to be willing to get involved in all aspects of music at PLP, whether that's administrative duties, brilliant music searches, timely and watertight music licensing or assistance with music reporting. You will work closely with producers from across PLP, working on numerous productions, from promos, broadcast features, live studio shows and digital content.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
Creative
• Working with a variety of music available to PLP (commercial music, MCPS production music & non-MCPS production music), you will:
• Provide the highest level of music supervision to PLP producers through music searches and editing music to picture.
• Proactively build creatively inspiring playlists of music for PLP producers that meet their editorial needs.
Relationships
• Producers
• As a music lover you will bring an energy and passion to what we do. You will create excitement around the best music available to PLP and be dedicated to providing a customer-facing service to PLP producers.
• Regularly checking in with PLP producers and reviewing PLP content to ensure every sync is made to count and that PLP's content stands apart.
• Rights holder relationships
• You will understand the sync industry and have good relationships within it, working on the understanding that these are extremely valuable reciprocal relationships.
Licensing
• Experience of licensing commercial music directly with rights holders.
• A solid understanding of music rights and how to apply that to PLP's music users and what is available to them.
Other/Administrative
• You will be willing to get involved in all aspects of music at PLP, assisting with administrative tasks as required, such as maintaining the PLP music libraries and contract files, registering tracks on PRS and supporting with music reporting (Soundmouse).
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
• A proven track record of delivering brilliant music creative.
• A deep understanding of music, passionate and knowledgeable about the latest music trends.
• Confident in licensing commercial music.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst managing own schedule.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Confident in building positive relationships with producers and rights holders.
• Great attention to detail.
• Excellent football knowledge (with a focus on Premier League).
• Experience of commissioning music and working with composers preferable, but not essential.
• Typically 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
