Senior Manager of Newsletters (Fashion/Luxury & Autos)

Your impact:

The Senior Manager of Newsletters, Fashion/Luxury & Autos, is responsible for overseeing the digital newsletter programs for premier publications including Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Esquire, Veranda, Town & Country, Elle Décor, Road & Track, Autoweek, and Car & Driver. This role is pivotal in crafting, executing, and optimizing strategies to drive engagement and growth across these luxury brands' digital newsletters. The senior manager will work with stakeholders across the company to ensure that the newsletter program meets key business and editorial goals. They will also lead periodic reviews of the program's infrastructure to ensure continued smooth operation and a strong foundation for future growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with editorial, design, and marketing teams to produce engaging and visually
• appealing newsletter content.
• Oversee the creation, auditing, and scheduling of newsletters.
• Utilize data-driven strategies to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and overall subscriber engagement.
• Diplomatically collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple departments, with a focus on finding win-win-win solutions.
• Help drive the creation of playbooks for key repeatable projects and initiatives.
• Organize large amounts of information and be able to identify key priorities and must-dos
• while managing a daily publishing schedule.
• Employ A/B testing to refine content, subject lines, and layout for maximum eWectiveness.
• Analyze performance metrics and produce regular reports detailing key insights and areas for improvement.
• Implement subscriber segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver targeted content.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on newsletter and email marketing trends and best practices.
• Coordinate with editorial, sales and advertising teams to identify or launch high-potential newsletter opportunities. Be able to think at a high level while also staying on top of details.
• Ensure all marketing materials comply with brand standards and legal requirements.
• Occasional holiday or weekend work may be required.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in digital and email marketing or newsletter production.
• Proven track record of managing successful email marketing campaigns or newsletter programs.
• Proficiency with email marketing software and tools (e.g., Sailthru).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with project management software like AirTable, Asana, or Trello.
• Prior management experience strongly preferred.

The base salary for this role is between $88,000 and $100,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
