Job Description
Hearst's Performance Marketing team works strategically with Affiliate Partnerships, Programmatic Yield, and Edit teams to launch, optimize, and analyze search campaigns to drive high-performing traffic across our digital brands. As a part of this team, the Performance Marketing Associate will be responsible for media buying and traffic acquisition across self-serve paid search tools such as Google Ads. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, extremely detail oriented, possess a passion for analytics, and get excited about learning new skills.
Resonsibilities:
What You'll Do:
• Launch and maintain paid search campaigns including setting them up, selecting creative images, writing and editing ad copy, and managing campaign performance.
• Run and analyze campaign reporting to determine optimization opportunities for your portfolio of campaigns.
• Collaborate, share results, and brainstorm with other team members to help shape campaign strategy.
• Provide feedback to our edit teams on which topics and types of content are resonating with our audiences.
Qualifications:
Who You Are:
• Have a bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Comfortable working with large data sets and adept at organizing and interpreting data
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Commerce, digital media, or search buying experience is a plus, but not required
The base salary for this role is $65,000. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
