Elle is looking for a Fashion Editor to join their tight-knit market team, covering fashion and accessories across platforms. The ideal candidate is upbeat, organized and efficient, with impeccable taste and strong attention to detail. They should be a team player with excellent writing skills and tons of creative ideas.
Resonsibilities:
• Correspond with brands for pulls and returns; attend market appointments and events
• Concept and curate front-of-book shopping pages
• Write front-of-book fashion copy, ecommerce stories, and cover trends
• Cover a market, pitching ideas for both print and digital
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of post-grad experience
• You have at least 2 years of experience working on the market team at a consumer fashion magazine
• You have a strong interest in fashion
• You have excellent writing skills
• You are collaborative and function well in a fast-paced environment
• You have a good attitude and top notch organizational skills
The base salary for this role is between $67,000 - $71,750. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
This position is based in the office a minimum of 3 days a week.
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
