Job Description
As the Ad Director of Beauty at FMG, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales strategies to expand the brand's presence within the beauty community and beyond. You will lead conversations with C-level business executives and key marketing decisions makers across beauty, wellness and retail categories and foster new business opportunities in a rapidly evolving industry. The ideal candidate will have a history of established business relationships and sales growth through cross- platform initiatives with the ability to tailor client solutions leveraging the full Fairchild Media Group portfolio of brands.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to meet and exceed revenue goals
• Foster and build client relationships with major beauty brands and retailers, further elevating Beauty Inc as an industry leader and visionary
• Independently develop a robust pipeline of advertising prospects across brand and agency media buyers alike, and increase high-value proposal volume
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, prospects, and partners
• Lead and mentor junior beauty sales executive through the process of prospecting and managing potential new business accounts
• Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities and partnerships both domestic and international through collaboration with Europe based sales counterparts
• Ignite new thinking, new ideas, and new approaches across the full FMC portfolio to capture attention in your category and drive market share
• Work strategically with sales planning and integrated marketing teams to craft proposals that meet and exceed client KPIs and objectives, growing your pipeline of new business in the process
• Effectively deliver and manage client expectations to ensure successful campaign execution and help set the stage for future growth via program renewal and more
• Manage a robust Salesforce pipeline; accurately forecast new business and revenue path from pitch to close
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market shifts
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and high-level meetings to increase brand visibility and establish relationships across the category

Requirements:
• 7+ years of media sales experience preferred
• In-depth understanding of the beauty industry and key clientele
• Knowledge of industry and sector trends, and media best practices
• Record of ad sales performance, meeting/exceeding goals in digitally led, multiplatform selling environments
• Ability to present and communicate ideas and concepts effectively
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, both internal and external facing
• Ability to develop, maintain, and grow relationships with customers, external partners, and internal teams to deliver on business objectives
• Experience in media pricing, planning, packaging, and related performance metrics
• Vertical knowledge of assets in Fairchild Media portfolio: digital, social media, video, audio, print, branded content, events (live and virtual)
• Demonstrated record of client-solutions-oriented idea generation in media space

Typical wage range: $150K-$175K + Commission.

Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits. PMC is committed to the health and wellness of our employees. As part of our company-wide rollout of PMC's paid healthcare plan, effective for this role July 1, 2023, the company will pay 100% of the monthly health, dental and vision plan premiums for the employee and their family. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
