Producer, Social Media - Marketing (FX Networks)
Are you fearless? At FX Networks, we are seeking a Producer, Social Media who will be responsible for the creation and distribution of marketing, promotional and other strategic partnership content, including original social content, and the community management of official social pages on Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, etc. in support of FX and its original series. Please note that this team will be relocating offices to Burbank, California in or around December 2025.
Responsibilities
• Produce content and perform daily management and publishing of FX content on assigned social platforms using native platform tools.
• Create original videos, stills and gif content for distribution on assigned social platforms
• Identify, evaluate, and execute ways to leverage network content as new features are introduced
• Support talent content capture for social media at network events such as premieres and junkets
• Oversee content calendars and workback schedules to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials, considering approvals, deadlines and potential blockers
• Manage approval process of content through various stakeholders
• Engage with 3rd party vendors creating content for social distribution
• Compile and organize pitch decks of internal and external creative concepts for presentations to senior executives and external partners
• Assist with the development of live events involving network talent on social platforms
Qualifications
• 3+ years' experience at a consumer facing Internet, agency or entertainment company in an interactive marketing or social media
• Media or entertainment industry experience a plus
• Must be proactive, multifaceted, capable of working on concurrent complex projects and able to communicate effectively to digital team members, vendors and executives
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and good editorial judgement
• Experience with budgeting and scope review from a product development perspective
• Strong familiarity with web technologies and social media platforms
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing software and other creative tools a plus
• Avid user of social networking sites including Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok and others with solid understanding of the current feature set of each platform with an eye on new product features
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust to rapid changes
Education:
Bachelors degree in a related field of study or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $76,300.00 to $104,800.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
