About the Role & Program:
FX, a division of Disney Entertainment, is a global multiplatform brand that develops, produces, commissions and markets original programming for Hulu and the FX and FXX linear channels in the US, and Disney+ in all other international territories. The award-winning FX Multi-Platform Marketing department is charged with developing marketing and promoting FX-branded content. The intern will support the Integrated Promotions team to engage audiences through experiential marketing, consumer events, and promotions (e.g., sweepstakes, partnerships, influencer marketing). This internship is a full-time commitment in the Los Angeles, CA area from June 2025–January 2026.
What You Will Do:
The Integrated Promotions intern will work as part of the team to assist in the creation and approval process for select tactics, provide support for events and activations, and deliver reporting and feedback on promotions. The intern will have the opportunity to learn the process and be engaged in the production of consumer engagements. Responsibilities may include:
• Participating in brainstorming sessions as a thought partner and creative collaborator
• Supporting in the execution of marketing programs: performing research, drafting copy, trafficking assets, and identifying social media influencers
• Assisting in asset management and organizational tasks
• Engaging in marketing research, compiling program notes and metrics, and other related duties
• Providing onsite event support as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Interest in FX, popular culture, emerging trends, experiential marketing, and consumer engagements
• Proactive, diligent, eager to learn, and willing to tackle new challenges
• Understanding of social media landscape and basic marketing principles
• Proficiency in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication to effectively convey ideas and information when working with colleagues across departments at all levels
• Ability to manage confidential information
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• Previous internship experience is a plus
• High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Airtable and Monday.com
Education:
• • Senior year preferred
• • Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related focuses preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through January 2026
• Availability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship. Preferably 9am-6pm PT, Monday - Friday, but may include some nights/weekends
• Able to provide own housing for the duration of internship program in the Los Angeles, CA area
• Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work in the Los Angeles, CA area
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
