Job Description

FOX Sports is looking for a Production Assistant to join our team In Charlotte, NC. The Production Assistant is responsible for working under and supporting studio show Producers, Feature Producers, Associate Producers, and other staff in production of studio shows. Their primary function is to view, log, and edit tape elements for various studio shows.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• View, log, and edit highlight tapes for studio shows
• Work under Producers in handling video needs for studio shows and remote productions
• More experienced Production Assistants have the ability to cut stylized pieces for studio shows using music, soundbites and other elements
• Handle more routine day-to-day functions of production including making links/dubs, shipping, photocopying rundowns and notes, music cue sheets and coordinating various errands for the department
• Can be called upon to work in the tape room with Sr. Associate Producers to organize and communicate the edited elements for the show with the control room

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Experience in sports studio show production and/or technical operations
• Thrive in a fast-paced sports production environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Strong NASCAR knowledge
• General sports knowledge

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Dalet, Content Pilot, and iNews
