FOX Entertainment, a premier national television broadcaster, is renowned for its combination of appealing primetime entertainment and powerful sports programming. It delivers 15 hours of weekly primetime programming to 208 local market affiliates, reaching approximately 99.9% of all US television households. FOX Entertainment is hiring a VP, Studio Operations & Incentive to be a part of an effective, nimble team in setting up the infrastructure to support FOX productions. The role will help develop a physical production strategy taking advantage of the various tax incentives across the country in addition to other ad hoc responsibilities that come with scaling a new business from the ground up. Reporting into the CFO of Entertainment with a dotted line into the President, Production Strategy & Operations, the position can be located either in Los Angeles or New York.
SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Management of film incentive and credits
• Including but not limited to applying, tracking, and auditing each program
• Manage relationships of Film Offices and other State or Federal Departments involved in television production (domestic and Int'l)
• Responsible for managing the monetization of tax credits
• Responsible for proper corporate structure set-up to ensure incentive eligibility
• Ensure proper license agreements are in place between corporate and production
• Manage initial and final deliverables required for each incentive program
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 10+ years of production experience at a production company or studio
• 4+ years of experience managing tax incentive programs
• Deep knowledge of production best practices
• Ability to multitask, collaborate across cross-functional teams, detail-oriented, problem-solver
