JOB DESCRIPTION
We have a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about comedy and drama to be a Coordinator on the Original Series team. In this exciting role, the Coordinator, Original Series will be responsible for providing administrative and development support to the Vice Presidents in the Original Series department as well as department support in regard to creative and current production. The Coordinator, Original Series must be able to work well within a team in an environment of constantly changing priorities. Candidates must have superb organizational skills, an eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, an understanding of the industry, and desire to continue to grow in scripted television. It is important for this person to be able to anticipate the needs of the executives, confidently multi-task, and prioritize under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate two busy calendars, file expenses, book travel, and manage phone sheets
• Log samples and submissions in database
• Maintain project records in company-wide database and update accordingly
• Take notes in meetings
• Source and assess writers and directors to help build out and sustain a robust TV pipeline that aligns with department and overall company strategy and goals
• Collaborate with internal team and work with writers to develop ideas and concepts that are viable for specific slates, buyers, and within slate budgets
• Once projects are deemed viable, coordinate and drive with other departments to help facilitate negotiation around writers, director selection, and or other talent deals, as well as any other support materials needed for greenlight, development/production, post-production, and delivery
• Assist with pitch materials to sell concepts to various linear network and streaming partners
• Track industry trends, studio mandates, and talent/IP to determine content strategy
• Miscellaneous research projects
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 2+ years of film industry experience
• Intermediate experience in MS Office (word, ppt, excel), Adobe Acrobat
• Experienced in creating charts, decks, and one sheets that are visually appealing
• Knowledge of film industry landscape and players
• Ability to think strategically, anticipate issues, and think ahead to potential conflicts that can arise with scheduling and/or projects and processes
• Excellent time management, communication, and writing skills
• Deadline-oriented, able to work independently when needed
• Detail-oriented
• A passion for reading
• Embodies the principles of gratitude, honesty, passion, collaboration, and entrepreneurship
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Experience in Final Draft, film editing, graphic design, screenwriting
• Agency experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $22.25-27.00 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
