JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Business Network is looking for a talented Production Assistant to join The Evening Edit with Elizabeth MacDonald. As the Production Assistant, you thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, high-pressure environment and can complete tasks with speed and minimal errors. If you have a passion for politics and business news and are looking for a role to kick-start your career, this is a great opportunity to learn the ropes and grow within the industry.

You will be offered the following shift:

Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM ET - 6:00 PM ET

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist producers with elements for the opens, teases, and segments
• Finding and cutting video and sound bites
• Coordinate reporter hits and produce highlight reels
• Help manage and oversee graphic elements
• Pitch stories for news of the day and future segments
• Book guests during breaking news situations
• Learn to conduct pre-interviews, research topics and produce segments

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Passion for politics and business news
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Provide solid news judgment, especially during breaking news
• Bachelor's degree

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $18.25-25.00 per hour for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $15.00-20.75 per hour for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
