Job Description
Finn Partners is looking for a resourceful consumer Account Executive (AE) for its growing team in London. Candidates should have at least 1-year of agency or in-house experience working with video game brands or entertainment brands, consumer technology and lifestyle PR, an excellent understanding of the media landscape as well as a several key media contacts, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to organise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The position would suit a well-rounded AE looking to develop their PR skills further and is interested in working with an international team.
This position is to work on video game and consumer brand accounts, so applicants will need to have experience within both spheres plus a broad understanding of current and emerging consumer trends. For example, being able to spot and flag any news in the video game world quickly to forecasting the next cultural zeitgeist moment.
The successful candidate will be in regular contact with clients and handle day-to-day activities on their accounts to ensure work is delivered to the highest standard. The AE will be highly organised and proficient in reporting and familiar with standard workflow documents. Any experience working on EMEA campaigns on international clients, influencer campaigns, sports knowledge or experiential activations would be advantageous.
Beyond this, the AE will be a team player who is eager to learn new skills, meet new people, contribute creative ideas, work with influencers, attend and/or support at events, and support new business where necessary.

Primary Responsibilities
• Ensure client and media deliverables are high-quality and error-free
• Creating reporting templates and ensuring deadlines for all client reporting requirements are met
• Develop and implement media relations strategies, goals, targets, and pitch angles that require minimum input from senior colleagues
• Secure high-profile national, local print, online and broadcast coverage for clients
• Contribute to creation of communications strategies and tactics that meet client objectives
• Building relationships with key media targets, especially in the video game and consumer lifestyle space
• Maintain clear and consistent communications between FINN offices in Europe, agency partners, client partners and our main UK account team
Skills and Experience
• Has at least 1 years' experience working on consumer media relations, particularly video game, consumer technology and lifestyle journalists
• Has an interest in video games, sports, and consumer technology
• Has excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Can work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Strong computer literacy
• Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, X, TikTok), Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace
• Is a self-motivated individual looking to build their career in a reputable PR agency
• Has proven ability to handle and manage work within a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Has their finger on the pulse of the news cycle and can identify trends and deliver informed POV's to clients
