Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Job Description

Position Summary: Reporting to the Manager Accounts Receivable Shared Services, this position will play a key role in assisting a newly formed Accounts Receivable function. The key responsibility for the role is to own Theatrical AR for UK; facilitating customer setup, invoicing, and ensuring timely collections.

Job Responsibilities:
• Request and review changes in support systems to ensure accurate billing
• Respond to billing inquires and requests for further information
• Execute best practice cash collection policies
• Solve account disputes and billing discrepancies
• Provide input to month end processes
• Ensure adherence to SOX controls
• Provide input to track and report performance of AR function
• Continuously strive to make improvements in existing process and models
• Review trends and analyse large sources of data

Qualifications and Experience:
• 1-3 years' Accounts Receivable experience in a fast paced, deadline-oriented business environment
• Experience working as part of a globally diverse Shared Service team a plus
• Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Proficient with MS Excel is a must
• Experience using Maccs' and Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a time sensitive manner
• Knowledge of accepted accounting rules and practices and internal controls is required
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and attention to detail in all areas of work are crucial
• Fast learner and self-starter
• Willingness to roll up ones' sleeves to get the job done
• Ability to work efficiently as a part of a team and independently
• Strong work ethic and flexibility to work overtime when required
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to think outside the box.
