Job Description
Position Overview:
As the Sr. Director, Ecommerce for FIFA World Cup 2026, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing the ecommerce / direct to consumer strategy. The Sr. Director, Ecommerce will be responsible for driving online revenue by understanding the profile and motivations of online buyers. With this understanding, the Sr. Director will work cross-functionally across teams including Strategy & Analytics, Pricing & Revenue Management, Product, Marketing, Guest Services, Ticket Operations and Technology to define appropriate products for the ecommerce channel, identify ecommerce performance trends to inform product & pricing decisions, coordinate with marketing on campaign launch & planning, and own the end-to-end ecommerce user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with the overall objectives of the World Cup 2026.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business opportunities, market trends, and competitive insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align ecommerce strategy with broader sales & marketing timelines and cadences
• Identify products, packages, and channels ideally suited for ecommerce success based on understand of overall consumer audience
• Align ecommerce offerings with proper ecommerce channels & framing to optimize success
Ecommerce Operations:
• Oversee the end-to-end ecommerce strategy and plan, website management, product listings, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Implement best practices for user experience, conversion optimization, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify potential alternate ecommerce channels (if applicable) to maximize conversion for specific products & packages.
• Ensure alignment of ecommerce approach and delivery with FIFA guidelines.
Technology Integration:
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and implement solutions that enhance the ecommerce platform's functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with the Technology teams to provide input and recommendations into the website and online user experience.
Marketing and Promotion:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and boost sales.
• Coordinate with marketing team on understanding of customer profiles to optimize ecommerce design & marketing campaign delivery.
• Develop and implement on-site promotional strategies to capitalize on the unique aspects of the event.
Revenue Generation:
• Set and achieve revenue targets through the sale of tickets, and other ecommerce offerings.
• Support the planning and execution of any partnered ecommerce efforts – including any potential programs with FIFA Commercial Partners.
• Support the creation of ecommerce sites specific to key sales partners within the framework and guidelines approved by FIFA.
Customer Experience:
• Collaborate with the Guest Services team to enhance the overall customer experience, ensuring a user-friendly interface, personalized engagement, and timely customer support.
• Implement data-driven approaches to analyze customer behavior and preferences, optimizing the platform accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, ticket ops, and strategy & analytics to ensure proper transactional communication for ecommerce buyers, FAQ maintenance & product information within ecommerce setting.
Analytics and Reporting:
• Collaborate with Strategy & Analytics to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze data to evaluate the success of ecommerce initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure traceability of sales partner ecommerce transactions.
• Generate reports and insights to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
• Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate the success of the ecommerce initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and gather insights for future events.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in ecommerce leadership roles, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, technology trends, and ecommerce best practices.
• Strategic, player-coach approach to working across the team to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet business targets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the World Cup environment.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Range Minimum:
$131,250 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$175,000 annually
