The Role and What You'll Do:

This Director of Corporate Accounting role is crucial in steering our accounting functions, encompassing consolidations, general accounting and SOX compliance for both IT General Controls and Business Processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the accounting operations for TKO ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in both external and internal reporting.
• Spearhead the corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP and the development and implementation of robust accounting policies and procedures.
• Oversee general accounting activities, including but not limited to AP/AR, payroll, and the consolidation of company financial information.
• Manage the consolidation process for TKO including interfacing with parent company (Endeavor) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, guaranteeing precise and timely financial statements.
• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive internal controls over financial reporting to ensure SOX compliance, addressing both IT General Controls and Business Processes. Manage audit requests for internal and external auditors to support the company's ICFR testing.
• Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit and quarterly reviews, ensuring all financial reports align with GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the finance and operational teams to enhance financial systems, processes, and support strategic business initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations, evaluating their impact and integrating necessary adjustments into company policies and procedures.
• Develop a high level of expertise in the company's accounting software, JD Edwards (JDE) and Hubble reporting software.
• Other duties as assigned.

You Have These:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance highly preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within a public company or a public accounting firm.
• Deep understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance is essential.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, is a must.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization and external partners.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and periodic long days.
• Ability to travel periodically for work.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
