FC Diez Media holds responsibility for all global media rights sales and commercial consultancy across CONMEBOL Libertadores, Sudamericana and Recopa competitions, ranging from game presentation and competition formats to brand development and digital promotion. We were established at the start of 2018 and our goal is to elevate the CONMEBOL club competition products to world class standards and transform the digital experience for a global South American football audience.

Who We Are Looking For

The Senior Account Manager will work on behalf of CONMEBOL club competitions sponsorship program- while helping to further grow FC Diez's commercial network with relevant brands and agencies and managing key sponsorship accounts.

We're looking for someone who is resourceful, bright, proactive, motivated, with leadership skills being able to work well independently and as part of a team, and who will be passionate to be a part of the process of uplifting South American football to a new level.

For this position, we are looking for a strong senior account manager, with the ability to have exceptional attention to detail and people skills. The senior account manager will be the first point of contact for CONMEBOL Libertadores and CONMEBOL Sudamericana and other CONMEBOL club competition key sponsors, while ensuring the contracted rights are being delivered and to support the sponsors in maximizing their association and impact with the CONMEBOL Club Competitions.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
• Develop strong long-term relationships with key sponsors (multi competition and bundle sponsorship platforms), ensuring highest client satisfaction, with meaningful & innovative activations
• Work together with key leading people from the different CONMEBOL stakeholders and internal departments to ensure media, marketing and digital assets are adequality delivered to clients and partners, in a timely fashion and complying with contract definition
• Anticipating needs, expectations and upcoming deliverables from key sponsors, considering commercial cycles and support them in creating impactful campaigns during the various stages of the CONMEBOL Club Competitions
• Provide regular updates, reports and recaps in relation to sponsor activities internally and to CONMEBOL with clear analysis and next steps
• Supervise access rights to official marks and ensure approval processes are followed
• Approve, based on brand guidelines, all creative/promotions/activations in relation to sponsors and CONMEBOL Club Competitions sponsorship program in an independent way and to coordinate consistent approval process within the account management team
• Contract management and sponsor financial reports
• Support key stakeholders to drive Sponsorship revenues and anticipating following commercial cycles supporting renewal processes in collaboration with sponsorship director and the commercial team
• Capability to identify and support with opportunities for sponsor up-sale proposals and new business
• Meet with sponsors, at least twice per season, and provide recap in relation to partner's activity with sponsorship
• Travel as required to supervise any relevant partner promotion/activation
• Work day to day with CONMEBOL and delivery agents to make sure assets are being delivered in a timely fashion
• Manage day to day communication with assigned key sponsors and stakeholders
• Contribute to market and competitive analysis. Provide comprehensive updates on partner activities, campaigns and activations in the various distribution and communication channels worldwide for key competitions
• Management of cross-cutting projects for the entire department. Leading this project in an autonomous way and coordinating all those involved (e.g. Legends Program, TV MRO, VIK Delivery, etc.).

You'll Have The Following Strengths
• Native fluency in Portuguese
• Advanced command/fluency of English and Spanish.
• BA/BS degree in related sector
• Understanding of South American football market and its competitions, as well as connections with advertisers in the region
• Extensive experience in the sports/entertainment business, business development and/or online media environment
• Experience of working with large global consumer brands and sponsors
• Leadership – must be able to manage and work as a team and educate less experienced team members about objectives and working processes
• Must be able to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines
• Consultative role to support process improvements and to coordinate cross-department working tools and documents (e.g. guidelines, forms, sponsorship platform etc.)
• Ability to turn ideas and concepts into workable action plans. Ability to complete tasks successfully in a well-organized manor. Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
• Global and cross-cultural mind-set with experience in dealing with international clients
• Regular travel is envisaged to meet clients and to matches
