Who We Are:
What You'll Do:
• The paralegal will be required to handle their own workload whilst working with the lawyers as and when required. As such the role is looking for a candidate who seeks responsibility, is a team players and has a positive attitude.
• Assisting with the negotiation and drafting of a range of commercial contracts, including media license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, contributor contracts, supplier agreements, and other documentation, and including proofing and undertaking comparisons.
• Managing legal audit tasks, maintaining schedules and tracker documents.
• Conducting legal research on behalf of the lawyers in the team.
• Legal group administrative tasks, including: (i) processing e-signatures/legal database entries, (ii) for senior legal team only: diary management, expense recording and travel, and providing ad hoc administrative support to the lawyers.
You Have These:
• Law Degree or equivalent required.
• Legal Practice Course or equivalent an advantage.
• Previous para legal experience desirable.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise a varied and heavy workload with the ability to plan ahead.
• Able to work to deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients of all levels both internally and externally.
• Ability to take responsibility and show initiative.
• Be team-orientated and focused.
• Develop rapport with immediate and wider colleagues.
• Be disciplined, hard-working and committed.
• Exercise judgement and common sense.
• Have the ability to take ownership and responsibility for projects.
Working Conditions:
• Permanent, based in London, Chiswick Park
• Working hours are: 9am-5pm
• Working days are: Monday - Friday
