Job Description

Talent Ventures is a new vertical within the Endeavor Corporate Development group that sits at the intersection of our talent ecosystem (e.g., WME Talent, WME Commercials, IMG Licensing departments) and serves the evolving needs of our clients – asset value creation, brand building and diversification. We work in close collaboration with our counterparts at WME and IMG to source, evaluate and negotiate non-traditional endorsement opportunities – including (i) equity partnerships and (ii) new business incubation – on behalf of key clients. WME is a leading entertainment agency representing the world's greatest artists and content creators across books, digital media, film, food, music, television and theater. IMG Licensing, another Endeavor company, represents renowned brands, institutions, and entertainment properties spanning sports, films, and talent – creating marketing and revenue opportunities through licensed products.

We are seeking an investment professional with a deep understanding of the Consumer/Retail world (food & beverage, spirits, beauty, health & wellness, apparel, etc.), preferably with operational experience. You will be responsible for meeting and cultivating relationships with relevant VCs, PE firms and earlier-stage brands – primarily Seed through Series B – as part of our sourcing efforts, participating in client signing meetings, and screening, evaluating and negotiating equity partnership opportunities. You will also be expected to build business plans and financial models for incubation opportunities.

You should be an enthusiastic, strategic and analytical thinker with a passion for talent, entertainment and venture deals.

Qualifications
• 4 – 7 years at a combination of the following: financial services (investment banking, venture capital, growth equity, PE) with a focus on Consumer/Retail; experience at a Consumer/Retail corporate (corporate development, strategy, operations, etc.) highly preferred
• Past transaction experience in Consumer/Retail: spirits, food & beverage, apparel, health & wellness, beauty, etc.
• Demonstrable knowledge of early-stage investing
• Comfortable engaging with clients, agents, C-level executives and senior leadership
• Relationships with key stakeholders across the early-stage Consumer/Retail ecosystem: VCs, PE firms, brands, incubators, etc.
