VFX Artist
Location: Guildford, UK

We're looking for a VFX Artist who can combine their technical knowledge of cutting-edge VFX with a creative eye for drama and composition. We need your passion to fill the game with spectacular effects while keeping the framerate silky smooth.
Responsibilities:
• As a technical and creative innovator, you will be part of the design process, from initial prototypes through to the delivery of game experiences.
• You'll also use your technical skills to find solutions and improve techniques.
• You will report to the VFX Director as part of a multi-skilled team of artists, technical artists and engineers in an iterative and collaborative design process
• You will break down deliverables; share regular updates and achieve commitments.
What We're Looking For:
• Experience of real-time node-based, GPU VFX pipelines.
• Experience generating VFX textures in DD (Houdini,Embergen, etc)
• Knowledge of the game development process, how VFX are integrated and how they provide essential player feedback.
• Experience of RBD in Houdini an advantage.
• Enjoy technical analysis and solving problems.
• You will have shipped games experience on Gen 5 consoles
• A broad interest in aspects of visual art outside of video games.
