Job Description
Report to: Technical Art Director
*This role is an 1-year fixed term temporary position

The Technical Art team combines creativity and imagination with technical expertise. We are the bridge between artists, engineers and designers responsible for data design and art production workflows.

Responsibilities:
• You will be first-line support for onboarding/offboarding efforts between the EA game teams and external third-party vendors.
• You will coordinate vendor onboarding/offboarding efforts based on requirements provided by the XDI team following vendor due diligence.
• You will help vendors with EA account creation & distribution.
• You will support the creation and validation of required ACLs.
• You will assist vendors in the setup of supporting infrastructure (e.g. Perforce Proxy, Game Build cache servers, Test workstations).
• You will support the validation of workflow functionality between EA and the vendor site, in collaboration with the game team and vendor.
• You will document the relevant details for each vendor engagement (e.g. user accounts, ACL's, infrastructure details, service account credentials).
• You will develop and document best practices for external development onboarding.
• You will collaborate with other EA teams to address production & vendor onboarding issues (e.g. EA IT Network team, XDI, Perforce team, Frostbite game engine team, Internal Art tools development team).
• You will participate in regular syncs & provide task updates per project to the XDI technical group.

Qualifications:
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Experience working with technical and creative partners from around the globe.
• Able to translate requirements into actionable solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiar with troubleshooting and debugging technical issues.
• Experience configuring networks, software, and hardware.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent training & professional experience.
• 1+ years of experience using Python or other programming language for tool development.
• 1+ years of experience using an industry-standard game engine (e.g. Unreal 4, Unity 3D).
• 1+ years of experience using DCC software (e.g. Maya, 3Ds Max, Zbrush, Substance Designer, Substance Painter).
