Report to Technical Director
Work Model: hybrid working in EA Shanghai office
Responsibilities:
• You will Develop, and launch mobile game clients (iOS/Android), ensuring high-quality delivery during development, testing, and operations.
• You will independently resolve complex technical issues, including crashes, performance bottlenecks, and network failures to maintain stable live operations.
• You will optimize client performance and architecture by setting rigorous performance targets and implementing processes, enhancing product quality.
• You will identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project progress and quality.
• You will maintain a product mindset by exploring and evaluating new technologies to lead innovation, improve development efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
• 8+ years of industry technical experience, Possessing hands-on experience in online client operations, able to solve complex challenges and ensure smooth version rollouts
• Knowledge of C++ and Object-Oriented Programming, with a background in game development on mobile, PC, or console platforms.
• Deep practical experience in at least one of the following areas: resource management, hot updates, anti-cheat, network optimization, or toolchain development, with an ability to solve related challenges.
• Experience with important technologies such as memory management, multithreading, multi-processor use, and runtime optimization, coupled with fast problem assessment, diagnosis, debugging, and resolution skills.
• Have outstanding discernment in problem analysis and risk identification, with the capability to propose and implement solutions.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code tools and source control (Perforce, Git) and CI/CD platforms such as Gitlab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Comprehensive development and launch experience in real-time PvP competitive games (e.g, Sports, MOBA, FPS).
