Senior QA Tester

Vancouver, BC - Hybrid
EA FC's quality verification team is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Tester to join us for a temporary 12-month contract to gain valuable industry experience and to ensure our game meets quality standards.
If you have 2+ years of experience in a QA testing position or equivalent role, we want to hear from you. We are looking for candidates that have skills in test planning, experience using bug tracking software, and understand technical tools such as automation.
Responsibilities: You will work in a hybrid work model 2-3 days out of our Vancouver - Burnaby office and report to a Development Manager. You will foster a collaborative team environment and demonstrate troubleshooting skills. You will coordinate with QA Lead Testers, Project Leads, and domain experts to ensure task execution on a new feature. You will compose test plan and conduct testing on a new feature within the FC product. You will manage bug entries, and perform accurate regressions to ensure game quality. You will contribute to test automation processes, applying your understanding to improve efficiency and quality.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
• $48,600 - $63,200 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
