Senior Analyst, Mobile Technology & Analytics

We are looking for a senior analyst to join the Mobile Analytics team. You will be working with the Mobile Casual group (MoCa) as an embedded studio analyst working with SimCity BuildIt, Design Homes and an unreleased prototype. As a Senior Analyst within MoCA, you'll be handed the keys to massive volumes of granular player behavioral data and responsible for deriving insights that meaningfully inform game design, feature prioritization, and product development.

Key responsibilities
• Conduct in-depth analysis and modeling to uncover hidden opportunities for product improvement; communicate insights to product, business and management teams
• Design and analyze A/B tests to help optimize product performance and guide development strategy
• Build, maintain and evangelize behavioral models; improve existing methodologies, systems and processes
• Contribute in our team's data democratization and education effort: teach power users how to use dashboards and access data. Help those who are less familiar understand the right questions to ask, and how they can better use data to inform their decision-making.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders on multiple levels.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience in a similar role at a top gaming, internet, technology, or consulting company with a focus on users and user experience
• Passion for games and data
• Strong foundation in math; deep statistical knowledge including an understanding of probability, correlation, regression, and classification. Understanding and/or experience with machine learning and other AI methodologies is a plus.
• Statistical programming languages (R, Python)
• Data Visualization (Preferred: Looker, Looker studio, Redash)
• Advanced SQL
• Knowledge of Data Processing tools (redshift, snowflake, Hadoop/Hive, Google big query )
• Degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science or similar technical field.
