Job Description
The Security Architect will report to the Senior Manager of the Security Architecture & Design team. Remote, hybrid and on-site options are available.
The Secure Product Engineering & Anti-Cheat Response organization ensures that all EA products are developed with security and gameplay integrity as a top priority. We partner with platform development teams and game studios to ensure that our players can enjoy playing games securely and fairly.
We are looking for a Security Architect to improve the security and gameplay integrity posture of our games and services. You will focus on the earliest stages of product design and development, working with partner teams to help them make the best design choices. You will find and fix security and gameplay integrity issues at scale.
Responsibilities
• You will lead complex design assessments on EA products running on PC, web, mobile and consoles, identifying and driving the remediation of security issues while also translating design principles into requirements.
• You will develop a broad and deep technical understanding of EA products, services and architectures, and use that understanding to guide your reviews and recommendations.
• You will identify and distill external research, influencing how EA identifies and mitigates emergent security and gameplay integrity issues.
• You will develop and deliver educational materials to raise security IQ across EA
Qualifications
• 2+ Years Experience designing, recommending and reviewing security controls for complex applications.
• Knowledge in two or more of the following domains: Game Security, User-Generated Experiences, Anti-Cheat, Mobile Architecture, Networking, OS Internals, Cloud Architecture, Web Frameworks, Identity and Access Management, DevSecOps, Cryptography.
• Experience with threat modeling methodologies.
• Experience with Python preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
