The challenge ahead:
As a Software Engineer in Test (SET), you will collaborate with your fellow QA Team, other Developers (Engineers, Technical Artists), and Product/Project Management folk to promote software quality within tools and products used to make the latest and greatest games. You will report to a Development Manager.
Day to day you will...
• Review product code and create test scenarios using the appropriate test data.
• Build/maintain tools and test scripts for quality software engineering and exploratory outcomes.
• Follow software quality standards through code reviews and design approvals.
• Set up dashboards for reporting test results in real-time.
• Collect and verify technical requirements for the project.
• Participate in the implementation plan formulation and adherence to aspects such as schedule, priorities, dependencies and deliverables from a software quality and testing perspective.
You are/you have…
• 1+ years of C# experience.
• Experience with testing software tools and implementation of automated functional/integration testing in areas such as Nunit framework, Postman/JavaScript, Selenium web driver, and Cyprus.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes relating to software quality, e.g. modern testing methods, software design patterns, and continuous integration.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and environments such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Experience with other tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Perforce and QMetry.
Bonus if you have…
• 2+ years of experience with unit testing and backend automated functional tests.
• Experience with desktop application automation and game industry-related automation.
• Familiar with audio tooling or audio production pipelines.
BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $79,900 - $111,900 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
