We're searching for a Playtest Designer focused on engaging with a playtest team by using various systems to gather and present data, and maintain engagement. You will report to the Playtest Director.

Be part of a dynamic team driving an important strategic pillar for EA. You will support a diverse team focused on ensuring the quality of Battlefield meets player's expectations. Our team will be integrated partners in the Battlefield product development organization, ensuring we meet the highest standards of Quality across every Battlefield experience.

The Playtest Designer is part of a cross-functional team focused on delivering impactful qualitative feedback that can be readily consumed and actioned by the development team.

Responsibilities
• You will collaborate with design and production to author and maintain survey and other data collection tools.
• You will partner with Quality Design, Analytics, and Design to gather, analyze and deliver qualitative feedback to the development team.
• You will use your expertise to identify common themes in feedback, diagnose quality issues and help prioritize iteration for the development team.
• You will author reports and present these to development leadership.
• You will liaison directly with development leaders to evaluate feedback and ensure it is being actioned.
• You will monitor feedback channels (Slack, Surveys) and ensure the playtest team is providing appropriate levels of data and detail.
• Be an expert in the product, to provide answers to questions from the Playtest Team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying playtest-related bottlenecks, inefficiencies and implementation of identified improvements.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of playtesting experience, or game development experience.
• Experience in creating reports for different audiences, both internally and externally.
• Experience working with and managing teams.
• Experience navigating and coordinating across a variety of teams and
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and other project management tools.
• You have a passion for video games, in particular the FPS genre.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $73,200 - $101,700 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
