Global Strategic Sourcing / Procurement Manager (Marketing)

Electronic Arts Inc (EA) is looking for a Manager I, Global Strategic Sourcing, with experience facilitating market due diligence by leading bid processes and driving commercial contract negotiations. You will have experience supporting internal partner engagement, demonstrated strategic thought processes, development of sourcing strategies, RFx, and contract negotiations. You will report to the strategic partnerships category leader for marketing. This is a hybrid onsite role.

This role is critical in driving value across our marketing and broader indirect spend categories, ensuring that we remain agile and competitive in an ever-evolving market.

Responsibilities:
• Work with internal partners to understand and translate needs into strategic sourcing solutions. Provide advice on best practices and develop negotiation strategies that create maximum value.
• Facilitate and manage supplier relationships, from initial engagement through contract execution, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate policies.
• Promote cost savings and value creation through direct negotiations, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
• Collaborate with teams, including Legal, Tax, Security, and Marketing, to create and negotiate contract terms that align with team goals while minimizing risk.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of spend and market data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and strategic supplier partnerships.
• Advocate for using procurement practices and tools that enhance our sourcing capabilities and improve across the procurement function.
• Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on sourcing decisions and contract negotiations.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated expertise in leading negotiations and managing supplier relationships within the marketing category.
• In-depth understanding of contract structures, with experience drafting, editing, and agreements, including SaaS, Subscription, and Marketing-related contracts.
• Conduct detailed market analysis, assess risks, and develop sourcing strategies.
• Influence partners at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Project management experience, simultaneously while maintaining understanding of goals.
• Bachelor's Degree and 5 Years relevant Strategic Sourcing or Procurement Experience.
• Experience managing indirect spend categories such as marketing or technology.
• Experience working within a US or European multinational companies, collaborating with, remote teams across different regions.
