Job Description
What you will do:
• Establish visual design principles, processes and standards to ensure we build engaging game feature experiences that exceed the expectations of our players
• Advocate and be responsible for user experience, product consistency, and design excellence across the product
• Apply your UI design skills in composition, grids, colour theory and typography to our interactive experiences in-game
• Apply your interaction/motion design skills to create interactive experiences that surprise and delight our players
• You will create pixel-accurate screen mocks based on feature requirements
• You will create interactive/motion design prototypes
• You will partner with the UX and game design teams to develop new features from concept to completion
• Collaborate with our technical teams to ensure that design solutions are practical to build from an engineering and scope perspective
• You will guide meetings with design and product leadership to guide progress against goals and establish clear next steps
Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in a Visual Design/Interaction Design role
• Capabilities in Visual and Interaction Design (For Console, PC)
• A portfolio of work that showcases relevant work that contains well thought out process and excellent craft execution (please include your portfolio link on your resume)
• Proficiency with Figma and the Adobe Suite
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI/Design Diploma or Degree, or a related area
• You will report to the Director of Experience Design

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $107,600 - $147,100 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
