On-site work in Orlando is desired for this role, but not required. Remote work is available for this position. This is a temporary role.
This Design position will work in a centralized capacity on American Football, directly contributing to the creation, maintenance and innovation of football gameplay systems, mechanics and fundamentals for College Football and Madden NFL. Reporting to the Production Director and Creative Director, this role will work closely with other designers and software engineers on both football products to create and contribute to the authenticity of on-field football concepts and techniques, including zone coverage, defensive run fits, playbooks and blocking schemes, with the primary goal of ultimate authenticity and realism. This role requires subject-matter expertise of football techniques, concepts and fundamentals across high school, college and professional football.
Your Responsibilities:
• Collaborate Coach, teach, consult, train peers in deepening the authenticity of the sport in football products
• Knowledge, Research and analysis of football teams & player personnel, performance, history and tendencies
• Review and interpret NFL and College football game film, scouting reports, stats and advanced data
• Collaboration with content creators to solve problems with football-minded solutions
• Writing and reviewing design documentation with a unique ability to translate a real-life football concept to a video game implementation
• Collaboration with peers in driving to meet product deadlines, weekly live service updates, and internal communication
• Taking ownership to drive quality improvements and completions of specific game features or feature iterations
Your Qualifications:
• 2+ years of American Football Coaching experience at the college and/or pro levels, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for sports video gaming, regularly plays Madden and/or College Football
• Familiarity with relational documentation tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite and playbook and film tools
• Experience troubleshooting problems and discovering solutions either individually or in collaboration with a team
• Ability to quickly react and be agile in response to the unexpected
• Attention to detail and the ability to execute on multiple tasks in parallel
• Ability to positively collaborate with peers and efficiently communicate progress updates and obstacles
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent to be considered a bonus, but not a requirement

Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). • $111,800 - $151,800 USD

• $117,300 - $145,600 USD

• $92,600 - $145,600 USD

• $92,600 - $135,600 USD
