About our team: We are starting a new team composed of a mixture of experienced EA/EA SPORTS employees and new talent from across industries. With some of the most valuable IP in the world, and the resources EA has to offer, we have access to the capabilities needed to deliver amazing new experiences for an expanded audience of players worldwide.
As a Producer on the team you will partner with team leaders to help plan and guide the delivery of game experiences. You'll be involved in development, from the early concept stages through production and final stages.
Producers are the bridge between the design team and project managers, overseeing what experiences we build, why we build them, and managing the delivery of them to our players.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with Production Leadership to establish the product goals for the Audio domain.
• Oversee major features through design and development, directing a team of Audio Artists, SEs and QA on the vision.
• Identify dependencies and own the delivery of the requirements across cross-functional partner teams.
• As a Producer, you are responsible for the quality of the product, and will work closely with QA leads to ensure the highest standards.
• Work with partners to prioritize the backlog of feature scope, ensuring the priorities are aligned with the product strategy.
• You will be actively involved in working alongside project managers to mitigate risks throughout the development process.
• Understand consumer needs and ensure audio experiences developed by the team contribute to player satisfaction and enjoyment.
Qualifications:
• An experienced producer or product manager with 5+ years of experience in game production, entertainment, or technology focused roles.
• A technical audio background isn't required. You don't need to have gone to audio school. Please don't hesitate to apply just because you've never worked or studied in audio before.
• Must be an avid football fan and familiar with the EA SPORTS FC franchise, as well as having a broader interest in the sports gaming genre.
• Experience writing well-organized design documentation is a major plus.
• Is a master of influence, inspiring the team on the direction of the product.
• Must be comfortable working autonomously and be self-driven.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
• $89,300 - $123,000 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
