The Challenge Ahead

Tracktwenty is Electronic Arts mobile game studio based in the center of Helsinki. The studio brought SimCity BuildIt to tablet and mobile and the game has more than 200 million installs to date. As well as growing SimCity BuildIt, the studio's passionate team of programmers, artists, designers, marketers, and analysts are working to create the next big hit to come out of Finland for EA Mobile.

Join us as Tracktwenty's next Art Director! As an Art Director, you'll work with our experienced team on the development of new stylized incubation projects and support SimCity BuildIt live service art needs.

Main Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Studio GM, you will be accountable for Art Direction across all Art Disciplines (Concept, 2D, 3D, Tech Art, UI Art) on Track 20 incubation projects and SimCity Build It.
• Facilitate meetings, feedback reviews, and communication between our Artists and other disciplines.
• Promote visual performance improvement plans in collaboration with Tech and Design Direction.
• Work with our leadership team on Art strategy, operations, and optimizing Art execution.
• Guide the look and feel, draft style guides, and author art documentation for casual, stylized mobile games.
• You will coordinate between the team, internal and external partners on backlog, planning, pipeline processes, art production scaling, and working expectations.
• Sell our projects' visual direction to team members and partners.
• Art Leadership and people management: Work with artists on their career development and promoting the well-being of the art team.

Requirements
• 5 years of Lead or AD experience in video game development
• Expert in at least one major discipline within game art development (Concept art, 3d modeling, animation, etc.)
• Visual design skillset and understanding of modern game development
• Art team processes and asset organization
• People management
• Experience working on a live game
• Game art pipeline architecture and art production scaling
• A passion for playing and making awesome games!
