Senior Compensation Manager

Position Summary:

The Senior Compensation Manager is responsible for leading complex multivariate analyses across Dotdash Meredith. The Senior Compensation Manager will be involved in plan design, managing the annual compensation cycles, data management, modeling financial impacts of compensation programs and complex financial projections.

Responsibilities include:
• Partners closely with the VP, Total Rewards to design, build and implement compensation programs and update job levels and salary ranges.
• Manages the annual salary budget and compensation planning process. Develops and presents annual salary budget recommendations that are internally equitable, externally competitive, and fiscally responsible.
• Serves as the primary resource for modeling compensation programs. Prepares the compensation forecast and planning processes and partners closely with Finance.
• Conducts regular market analyses to track industry trends and recommends adjustments to compensation programs accordingly.
• Prepares reports and presentations for management, and also educational resources including guidelines and training materials.
• Confirms accuracy and integrity of data through audits, query generation and coordination of data cleanup as necessary.
• Manages assigned functional areas for compensation guidance, including support to Talent Acquisition, HRBPs and managers.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years working in Compensation, or a related field.
• Experience in compensation program design, building salary ranges and managing the year-end cycle in a complex environment.
• A strong business partner with strong collaboration and influencing skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and high sense of urgency for critical timelines. Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Extensive experience with Excel & Google Sheets. Workday experience preferred

Pay Range
Salary: $125,000 - $140,000
