Director, Brand Marketing, PEOPLE
I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
As an integral part of the PEOPLE Brand Marketing team, you will support the go-to-market pre-sale process and play a strategic role in driving revenue growth with advertising partners across print, digital, social, video and events. You'll collaborate closely with PEOPLE's editorial team to develop impactful marketing programs, working alongside Vertical Marketing, Digital Sales, Print Sales, and Strategic Account teams to ensure our offerings effectively drive revenue growth. This position reports to VP, Brand Marketing.
Hybrid 3x a week NYC Office
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

Brand development, including creating new brand opportunities and updating brand sales materials for franchises, tentpoles and partnerships.

Assisting with post-sale execution for advertiser programs tied to PEOPLE tentpoles, partnerships or franchises.

About The Positions Contributions:
• Brand Evangelist: Be an expert on the PEOPLE brand across all platforms; providing support and regularly continuing brand education to sales and marketing as needed
• Editorial Brand Positioning, Strategy + Packaging: Assist in GTM strategy and packaging with internal teams to develop, create, and package go-to-market materials
• Develop Marketing Materials: Create presentations and sell sheets that communicate PEOPLE's unique value proposition to advertising clients across all verticals
• Cross-Department Communication: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Content Strategy, Account Strategy, Editorial, Editorial Solutions, Events, Design, and more to ensure editorial programs are accurately reflected in client pitches
• Proactive Ideation: Create new opportunities grounded in the DNA of our brand and brought to life through well-written and visually-appealing materials
• Rollout New Opportunities: Present and rollout new brand-driven materials to Sales and Marketing teams across Dotdash Meredith, as needed
• Added Value Offerings: Oversee added value programs that drive revenue impact
• Pre-Sales Team Organization: Help marketing team with ongoing maintenance and creation of go-to-market materials such as Brand and Category presentations,
One-Sheets and more
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred , or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Minimum 7-years of integrated multi-platform marketing experience ranging from brand to sales marketing across print, digital, social, and experiential. Experience at an agency, media company or sales organization where candidate participated in multi-platform presentation development.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills with an ability to execute visually impactful presentations (fluent in Keynote, Google Suite and Powerpoint)
• You're an excellent communicator who remains poised under pressure and can tailor messages for different audiences
• Proven ability to project-manage successfully
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• You have an understanding of the advertising landscape, products, and trends; understanding of digital, print and event marketplace required; experience in or knowledge of ''big brand'' media a plus
• You are a true self-starter – provide proactive ideas, understand organizational goals, and move initiatives forward
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00
