Job Description
Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, the Senior Specialist is responsible for box office reporting, data analysis, film materials logistics and operation including materials delivery and censorship submissions.

The Senior Specialist / Asst Manager needs to work closely with the Studios team and other internal team members as well as exhibitors and vendors.

Responsibilities:

BOX OFFICE REPORTING:
• Daily Box Office Recordings and Updates: Gather and record daily box office data in various internal systems, organize the data and distribute the updates to Studio team in a timely manner.
• Preparation of Reports: Working with immediate supervisor to prepare weekly industry reports, Opening Day & Weekend Reports for new releases, and other ad hoc reports as needed.
• Box Office Data Analysis Support: Assist immediate supervisor with the regular and ad hoc analysis of box office data as requested.

PRINT LOGISTICS AND OPERATION:
• Censorship Management: Independently handle all censorship related operations, including trailers and features ordering through internal systems, downloads, duplications and submission for censorship.
• Coordination with Regional Office: Act as the key point of contact to co-ordinate with Regional Office on all print logistics and operation issues, including requesting trailers and features for screenings in internal system.
• Coordination with Exhibitors on Logistics: Manage the logistics of materials between Disney and exhibitors including working with various vendors
• Print duplication and KDM Issuances: Handle print duplications in internal facilities and apply for KDM issuances.
• Monthly Inventory Check: Conduct monthly inventory checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.

ADMINISTRATION:
• Arranging checkers to specific theaters for the purpose of monitoring.
• Handle theaters bookings on internal system and contracts preparation.
• Manage programing and bookings for 2nd Run Theaters.
• Handle purchase orders for complimentary tickets collected from exhibitors.
• Handle purchase orders for various vendors, including forwarder, delivery services, checkers, warehouses, and other service providers and industry associations.
• Working with Finance and Accounting teams for timely and accurate billing
• Assist Credit collection team on credit collection
OTHERS:
• Support on screening events, such as on technical and security
• Other ad hoc supports as requested by immediate supervisor or management

Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of movie industry operations and logistics is essential. At least 8 years of solid experience in movie distribution (either on the distributor or exhibitor side) is required.
• College/University degree required.
• Well organized, good analytical skills in numbers with the ability to organize data in a presentable manner while providing insights.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and within tight timeline.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• A team player with experience working with external partners.
• Availability to work overtime and on holidays as needed.
