Manager, Brand Social (Hulu)

Hulu's Social marketing team is seeking a Manager, Brand Social who will be an exceptional leader within our growing Brand Social team. As a Social Manager, you will lead the social across assigned Hulu verticals and titles, working closely with the Marketing, Publicity, Content and Creative departments. This role requires someone with ample social experience across series, film and movie verticals. Additionally, a consistent record for delivering results on large scale social media campaigns. The successful candidate will be collaborative, innovative, and always willing to go above and beyond what is expected.

Responsibilities:
• Lead Brand verticals including Brand & Culture, Live, Licensed, Awards, Inclusive Marketing, etc. as assigned.
• Develop strong working relationships with studios, talent, and affiliate partners.
• Be an inspiring peer and help develop out of the box and first-to-market experiences, activations, and content that will drive social conversations and increase brand love.
• Be a cross-functional teammate who engages, listens, and collaborates with internal teams on Hulu's overall marketing strategy and helps drive the brand social vision.
• Monitor trends and how to tap into culture for Hulu across platforms.
• Help drive the organic and paid social content strategy to cultivate deeper conversation and earned media.
• Analyze key performance metrics regularly, making necessary recommendations for improvement.
• Be a key collaborator within a growing team, cementing processes and operations to make the team more efficient.
• Use audience insights to strategically build communities and create fandom amongst Hulu's social audience.
• Collaborate with external agencies & platform partners to ensure Hulu continues to deliver outstanding social media campaigns.
• Support the management of invoicing.

Basic Qualifications:
• 6+ years of social media marketing & strategy experience at a media/entertainment brand, network, studio or advertising agency.
• 4+ years of experience in creative producing.
• 2+ years of management experience leading a social media team & agencies.
• A portfolio of work that showcases delivering results for high impact social media campaigns including strategy, ideation, and execution.
• Deep understanding of social platforms.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and collaborative working style – ability to inspire, motivate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• Experience managing external agencies/partners/talent without oversight.
• Strong ability to make sound copy decisions using intuition and data.
• Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Experience using publishing and measurement software: Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, Netbase, ListenFirst, CrowdTangle, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, Premiere, etc.
• Experience presenting campaigns and delivering results to external talent and partners as well as internal senior executives.
• A high degree of drive, accountability, and initiative.

Required Education:
• High school diploma

Preferred Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Advertising, Digital/Social, Journalism, TV/Film or a closely related field.

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $90,500 to $124,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
