Inventory Coordinator (Set Warehouse) Production Shared Services (Disney Entertainment)
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled Inventory Coordinator to join our vibrant team at the North Hollywood warehouse. Our warehouse is an exciting hub where we manage and loan out set inventory, construction elements, and various other assets essential for our scripted series productions. This includes providing storage solutions, handling shipping logistics, managing asset liquidation, and planning for season and series wraps.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a team environment and has a knack for inventory management and the warehouse environment. They will get the chance to dive into the behind-the-scenes action of television production services, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
Reporting into the Manager, Set Inventory the Coordinator will assist with logging and tracking set inventory for use by Disney Television productions and outside rentals. They will gain a closer look into the logistical elements of maintaining a Television Set Rental/Library business, which provides cost savings to our productions while promoting reuse and sustainability.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Performing day-to-day processes of our television warehouse functions, including set inventory, vendor management, and warehouse administration.
• Inventory management – track, search and update the set inventory database. Log new sets into the systems with detailed measurements, design characteristics, history, and digital photographs.
• Logistical support – create set transportation memos and coordinate billing/invoicing for sets and transportation. Work with productions and third-party storage facilities to coordinate invoices and billing activities.
• Administrative and office duties including meeting scheduling, document distribution, and updates to department website.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time (1-2 hours at a time)
• Be able to lift 35 pounds
• Be able to use ladders
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work at the warehouse in North Hollywood with occasional visits to stages around Los Angeles area. This role is onsite.
• Ability to start work 7am and work occasional overtime if requested.
• 1+ year of experience working in Inventory warehousing (required)
• Experience working with inventory management tools, MS office Suite/Adobe suite. (required)
• 1+year customer service and or vendor managements
• Strong communication skills both written and oral as well as ability to prioritize/multitask (required)
Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in North Hollywood, CA is $52,000 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
