Executive Assistant, Design (FX)
FX is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support for two SVPs in Design. Responsibilities include phone coverage, calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reports, general office duties, and assisting with special projects as needed.
Please note that this role is currently located in the Century City offices. The team is expected to transfer to Burbank by end of 2025.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support for the SVP of Print Design and SVP of Design & VFX, including phone coverage, meeting coordination (internal & external), calendar management, arranging travel, and processing expense reports.
• Provide departmental support, including mail and courier services, ordering supplies, and handling various office tasks with outside departments such as building services, IT, purchasing, and printing.
• Facilitate communication between team members and across multiple departments.
• Assist with special projects as assigned, including general research and support with presentations.
Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience working in entertainment, marketing, advertising, or related area
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate overtime as needed
• Must have the ability to multitask, anticipate, and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to assume responsibility, function effectively in a team environment or independently, with minimal supervision
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
• A genuine passion for the FX brand, with a deep understanding of its mission, values, and audience
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ year supporting a VP/equivalent level executive or higher in entertainment
Preferred Education:
• Four-year college degree, preferably in graphic design, fine art, or related field, or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $58,700 to $78,600 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
