Executive Assistant, Casting & Development (FX)
FX is seeking a forward-thinking, motivated Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the EVP of Casting and SVP of Development.
The successful candidate is curious, adaptive, driven, passionate, and quick to respond to challenges while managing busy calendars and ever-shifting priorities. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will develop strong partnerships throughout the company and will require a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
Please note that this role is currently located in the Century City offices. The team is expected to transfer to Burbank by end of 2025.
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the EVP and SVP, including, but not limited to, the following:
• Answer phones, manage calendars, schedule meetings and conference calls, make travel arrangements, handle expense reports, and perform various other administrative tasks
• Track submissions, manage delivery of incoming scripts and cuts, and track shooting schedules
• Support the department and other executives as needed, this includes scheduling meetings, updating the department records, and researching various assignments
• Communicate accurate show information to talent agents
• Coordinate and distribute materials pertaining to projects to other FX and Disney departments, our productions and studio partners
• Communicates with other departments regarding their needs and ensures they have the materials that they need to take care of their responsibility to the network
Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years previous administrative experience required, experience at an entertainment or media company
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Must have strong skills utilizing Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Must be a highly organized, task-oriented person, able to manage and disseminate a high volume of information and material punctually, properly and confidentially in a fast-paced, busy office environment
• Must be able to evaluate material and think analytically in relation to projects
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge and passion for entertainment and the TV competitive landscape.
Preferred Education:
• Four-year college degree, preferably in film, broadcast, journalism, communications, english or business or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $64,300 to $86,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
