Job Description
The SEC Sports Brand Solutions team provides creative marketing, sponsorship and integration opportunities across the Southeastern Conference and SEC Network's vast content portfolio. The team is responsible for oversight of the SEC Official Sponsorship program including, but not limited to, sponsorship activation, oversight of conference intellectual property, and sponsorship strategy, ideation, and execution.
Job Summary:
The Coordinator role on this team will be responsible for supporting our SEC Official Sponsor business. The primary role will be to work with our SEC SBS team, conference office staff, external clients and various internal teams to handle all details of the nation's top collegiate conference sponsorship program and network.
The Coordinator will play a key role in sponsorship management, event operations, on-site championship management and execution, for all SEC Championship events, Tournaments and ''SEC Nation,'' the network's flagship football show originating from SEC campuses throughout the fall.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
• Manage and oversee SEC Sponsor in-venue marketing, promotions, and digital signage at each SEC Championship, Tournament and other SEC events
• Participate in weekly status calls with SEC Official Sponsor clients and agencies and follow up on direct, actionable items.
• Serve as an on-site contact for SEC Network production, school contacts and SEC Official sponsors for on-site activation placement each week at SEC Nation show locations.
• Serve as primary contact for all event hotel and meeting planning for championship events and the annual SEC Sponsor Summit
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GoogleDocs
• Experience with Smartsheet preferred
• Minimum 1 year of marketing, sponsorship or media experience preferred
• Highly organized, time management skills, ability to multi-task
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with the desire to do whatever it takes
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel
