About the Role & Team

Disney's Direct to Consumer (DTC) team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment helping to bring The Walt Disney Company's (TWDC) best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.

The Disney+ Global Content Programming and Subscriber Engagement organization leads content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights, contributing to a cohesive content strategy for the service. Our Global Content Programming team ensures that Disney+'s programming frameworks drive audience engagement and discovery with local relevance.

What You Will Do

We are looking for a Content Programming Associate Manager to support our business and editorial objectives, with a focus on driving engagement across Disney+ and Hulu particularly with Disney+'s key performance indicators(KPIs). In thisrole, you will collaborate with a team of Content Programmers to design and implement on-platform campaigns and promotions.

The ideal candidate will be adept with content management systems (CMS) and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Conviva, along with project management platforms like Google Suite, Airtable, and Atlassian.

Responsibilities
• Program, test, and optimize curation across Disney+ and Hulu to best serve the needs of our viewers and the business.
• Monitor editorial campaign and upsell pacing and performance to identify optimization opportunities.
• Partner with insights, data, and analytics teams on experiment design, data collection, and measurement.
• Contribute to title campaign ideation, planning, tracking, and communication across teams and the larger organization.
• Manage title prioritization and targeting strategies using audience segmentation tools.
• Maintain thorough documentation of processes and identify workflow efficiency.
• Troubleshoot creative with partners, standards and practices, and other stakeholders.
• Cover evening and weekend programming events, when needed.
• Collaborate with team members on ad-hoc programming strategies.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in digital media, content programming, content curation, product management, or audience development, preferably within SVOD.
• Proficient in digital media publishing, with hands-on experience in consumer-facing CMS across web, app, streaming, and connected devices.
• Proven track record of successfully growing diverse audiences across various platforms.
• Skilled in data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Conviva.
• Experienced with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, and Atlassian.
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting to large audiences.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong follow-through abilities.
• Quick learner with critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Eager to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, adapting priorities seamlessly, and maintaining composure under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in SVOD or streaming media is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in complex formulas (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Index functions), expertise in PivotTables for data analysis, and the ability to design and interpret various charts and graphs.
• Strong experience with Airtable is a plus.
• Knowledge of The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) and familiarity with general entertainment content libraries, brands, franchises, and characters.
• Deep passion for TV and films.

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field.

Additional Information
• This role is based out of the Glendale office 4 days a week.

The hiring range for this position in CA is $71,000.00 to $95,100.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
