Job Description
Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) brings together the Company's best-in-class product, technology, and commercialization teams into one global organization. DMED is responsible for the P&L management and all distribution, network and engineering operations, sales, advertising, data, and certain key technology functions worldwide for the Company's content engines. DMED also manages operations of the Company's streaming services including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+, Hotstar; and domestic broadcast and cable television networks.

Disney Advertising Sales drives the advertising revenue across platforms for the entire media portfolio – including D+, ABC, ESPN, Hulu, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Disney Channels Worldwide, and more.

The Sales Enablement team is responsible for providing a unified client service experience with ease and automation to more effectively drive revenue for the Advertising organization (DAS). Sales Enablement sits within the Ad Products and Enablement Organization which has the mission to enable DAS with best-in-class products, platforms and partnerships vital to revenue growth in an evolving multi-media industry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate understands the Linear & Addressable advertising industry and brand advertising; is operationally minded, product oriented and a driven self-starter with product and project management skills, as well as strong communication skills. This role will partner with the Linear & Addressable Sales Enablement team to manage our ad sales operations platforms, assuming a hands-on role on the delivery of new product implementations, intake, process improvement initiatives and other responsibilities as assigned. The individual reports to the Manager, Sales Enablement.
• Develop an understanding of the current Ad Sales Linear & Addressable platforms and use cases in order to effectively help plan, test and execute new implementations, business processes and workflows as needed.
• Oversee the intake process for new Roadmap initiatives with Ad Platforms, from the initial pitch to pay.
• Partner with the Linear & Addressable Product Teams to help ensure system readiness for the launch of key initiatives.
• Collaborate with key sales stakeholders to ensure all critical requirements are captured for key initiatives & intake items.
• Gather essential use cases for inclusion in Testing for future initiatives and work closely with Product, Tier One Support, and end users to facilitate the implementation of new initiatives and system updates.
• Create and maintain Change Management Overview decks for initiatives being worked on by Product to document each initiative's objectives, pitch to pay impacts, high level business requirements, key decisions made, and the latest updates.
• Coordinate any necessary training sessions and documentation needed post-implementation in collaboration with the Portfolio Support Team.
• Lead monthly meetings with Executives and Product members to provide change management updates regarding the key initiatives on Product's Roadmap.
• Track, test, and report progress of the Disney Advertising Sales backlog, including requested improvements, customizations, vendor driven releases for Operative, AdVisor and other internal/external Linear & Addressable Order Management systems.
• Participate in testing to identify areas of improvement, troubleshoot support, or additional training.
• Work with the Portfolio Support Team on creating/maintaining training materials and job aid documentation to support platform knowledge and process.
• Internal/external communication and collaboration.
• Provide ongoing updates to Leadership, users, key stakeholders, and decision makers.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
• Track progress, communicate objectives/status, identify and escalate roadblocks, and recommend appropriate mitigation actions/strategies.
• Assist in collecting requirements from business users for key system updates and use cases to consider for testing prior to releases.
• Track, test, and report progress to users and business leaders of the Disney Advertising Sales Linear backlog, including requested improvements, customizations, and other internal/external solutions.
• Create and maintain Change Management Overview decks for initiatives being worked on by Product to document each initiative's objectives, pitch to pay impacts, high level business requirements, key decisions made, and the latest updates.
• Coordinate with Sales and the Portfolio Support Team on training plans and the development of new training materials to support platform knowledge and process.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
• 3+ years of total work experience including 2+ years within a product management, sales analytics, ad/revenue operations, or media planning type role, preferably in Linear & Addressable advertising; or equivalent business work experience.
• Proven experience partnering with ad tech, sales, operations, and technology organizations.
• Experience managing multiple projects at one time, in various phases of development and managing diverse workloads on a daily basis.
• Experience with coordination and collaboration with cross-functional teams and a track record of collaboration, consensus-building, and project management across functional areas and levels of seniority.
• Ability to effectively manage projects with proven ability to work with various groups to reach a common goal.
• Detail oriented, organized, flexible and able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate at a technical and a business level- translating technical and operational issues and opportunities into business terms.

Preferred Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
• Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Product Development or related field
• Functional understanding of the roles and technologies in the ad delivery cycle.
• Experience managing business needs against technology requirements and prioritizing them across other business objectives.
• Diplomacy, tact and relationship building skills are essential--particularly in situations where team members have conflicting goals and objectives
• Detail oriented, organized, flexible and able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment.
