Overview

We are looking for a Standards & Practices Coordinator (m/f/d)

Responsibilities
• Supporting the S&P department in ensuring that all content transmitted via channels and platforms licensed in Germany complies with the relevant legal regulations, in particular those relating to the protection of minors, and with in-house guidelines.
• Coordinate with local planning and editorial teams on scheduling, airtime and editing issues, and with the legal department on legal issues
• Assist in training and advising departments, including those in English-speaking countries, on regulatory and youth protection law issues
• Close cooperation with the legal department as well as institutions of voluntary self-regulation and media supervision
• Communication, documentation and administration of work results as well as support in the further development of own classification tools and business systems
• Research of audit results, structuring and coordination of data exchange between departments or with institutions of voluntary self-regulation
• Willingness to deepen own knowledge in protection of minors, regulation as well as in editorial processing of programs

Qualifications
• Completed studies in media, communication sciences, (media)education, psychology or equivalent
• (Basic) knowledge of youth protection in media, ideally of a TV company, an institution of self-regulation or media supervision
• Reliable and independent working style as well as a high degree of responsibility
• Cooperative, communicative and team-oriented working style
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office/Google Workspace, especially sheets, slides, and willingness to contribute to the development and optimization of modern business systems and self-classification tools
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
