Business Operations Seasonal Assistant
The Business Operations Assistant will support all Lakeland business operations functions. The position will be responsible for specific non-game day, game day, special event, administrative, sales, service and marketing duties during Detroit Tigers Spring Training, Lakeland Flying Tigers season, Florida Complex League Tigers season, seasonal and community events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with administrative duties including, but not limited to, supporting Human Resources onboarding process, executing orientation meetings and operating front desk reception duties.
• Assist with sales and service duties including, but not limited to, prospecting and providing research for new business prospects, fulfilling ticket and hospitality orders, executing set up and tear down of premium service areas.
• Assist with marketing duties including, but not limited to, assisting with execution of external marketing events, activating sponsor partnerships and supporting game presentation execution.
• Provide support before, during and after games and events as needed.
• Complete season specific projects as assigned by supervisor and department heads.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education & experience also considered.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented, well organized and self-motivated.
• Previous office experience required.
• Proven attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and evidence of ability to present data effectively and professionally.
• Evidence of highly developed organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and manage several concurrent, complex projects or activities.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, database, Internet, etc.)

• Office & Outdoor Stadium Environment
• Irregular and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Employment dates: October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025
