As the Accounting Coordinator, you'll work closely with our Finance and Accounting department in reviewing and monitoring the general ledger. You'll prepare journal entries and perform month end reconciliation of general ledger accounts. This role supports the Senior Accountant with audits and general accounting support.

What you'll be doing
• Review general ledger, prepare monthly recurring and one-off journal entries as needed and perform month end reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Prepare month end journal entry summary report for all entities.
• Assist with monthly consolidation of multiple general ledgers and intercompany elimination activity and will assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and financial reporting.
• Lead the Per Diem and tips process with basketball operations.
• Lead the hotel processing with basketball operations.
• Understand and implement prepaid accounting and associated journal entries on a monthly basis.
• Prepare capitalization of fixed assets.
• Assist in the preparation of audit documents and audit assistance for NBA specific audits and annual financial statement audit.
• Understand revenue operating systems and their relationship to accounting system, including ticketing system and preparing journal entries for process.
• Promote and maintain internal control policies and procedures, including developing and implementing standards.

What we're looking for
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with problem analysis and solutions.
• Tact and patience in a fast-paced environment, with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities and make quick decisions.
• A hard-working, resourceful, and dependable team improver is required.
