Full-Time, Permanent Position
Location: Vicenza, Italy
Role and Responsibilities
• Answering calls and emails for technical assistance from Italian cinemas.
• Commissioning and remote installation of servers.
• Perform integrity tests of audiovisual content files.
• Set up servers remotely, guiding the technicians locally to carry out the necessary actions.
• Configure LAN ports remotely and test communication with local networks.
• Upgrade the network to its maximum capacity.
• Perform integrity tests on audiovisual content files.
• Manage logistics for cinema server installation and maintenance.
• Coordinate with the global IT teams and local IT managers from other facilities.
• Technical support for Live events (both test and prod).
• Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company
• Implement, and maintain quality protocols.
• Help to increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's internal capacity.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.
• Random on call shifts on nights and weekends (one week per month approx).
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a background in audiovisual and Film production/distribution, as well as:
• Knowledge in Linux, Windows and Mac.
• Knowledge in Network and Protocols.
• Team player, detail-oriented, ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills: time-management solid skills, the ability to prioritize workload combined with a sense of urgency, working well under pressure and meeting multiple critical deadlines daily.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical.
• Fluent in English, and Spanish would also be a plus.
