Business Unit: Deluxe Localization
Position Summary
As an Manager of Subtitling Operation team, you will oversee the overall operational activities of the languages under your span as well as the People Management aspect of it.
You will be tasked with managing the Subtitling operation, which will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of high-quality subtitling services to a growing number of clients.
Outcomes and Accomplishments
As a Manager, Subtitling Operation, you will:
• Contribute to the development and implementation of cutting-edge systems and processes that provide visibility into day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
• Oversee and lead local and regional subtitling operation teams.
• Be accountable for the overall operational activities of the span of languages and team they oversee.
• Work closely with the Subtitling Coordination manager to ensure the daily deliveries are on track. The daily report from page-downs to be reviewed to ensure process adherence.
• Be the regional POC for any quality related concerns for their respective language streams/ pools.
• Develop and implement best practices to monitor quality output of our internal processes. Ensure key quality metrics are aligned with direct client expectations to deliver the best end-user experience.
• Collaborate with the Training Team to establish best-in-class training programs and assist in the global implementation of the training.
• Collaborate with regional heads on strategies, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs.
• Schedule skip level meeting with functional team that dotted to them to gather feedback for the Managers and TLs and work with HRBPs as needed.
• Uphold organization and industry specific policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed.
• Lead teams with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
• Provide oversight and direction to the employees in their vertical in accordance with Deluxe policies and procedures.
• Be responsible to do regular One-on-Ones with the direct reports and address any personal issues via right channels.
• Ensure employee work schedules including assignments, time off, cover for absenteeism, and overtime scheduling are maintained for the team and are validated regularly.
• Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessary.
• Work with the Sr. Managers, HRBP and ER team to ensure all people issues are addressed through the right channels.
What You Bring:
• Candidate must have a graduate degree.
• Excellent command on English language.
• Good time management skills, excellent problem-solving skills.
• A keen interest in media industry preferred.
