SUMMARY:
The core function of a bookkeeper is to ensure that all bills are paid on time, transactions are recorded correctly, payroll runs on time, and the financial data of the company is supported.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Recording financial transactions
· Support leadership with forecasting and special accounting projects
· Update general ledger and P&L
· Bank reconciliation
· Credit Card Reconciliation
· Account Receivables and Account Payable processing and maintenance
· Monitor Cash Flow
· Produce Financial Reports
· Run and maintain payroll system
· Follow up with employees regarding time recording errors or meal break waivers
· Manages with 401k and Union contributions
· Prepare accurate financials in QuickBooks prior to submission to CPA
· Assist HR and Operations as necessary
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· The role interacts, trains, and supports billing coordinators.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Experience managing books in multiple locations/offices/departments.
· Computer skills required: **QuickBooks Online**, **FileMaker**, Rippling, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); Adobe Acrobat, Google Suite,
