Payroll Administrator
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for producing bi-weekly payroll for our front office and event services staff and serves as a backup for our semimonthly player payroll. The position's primary duty is to process payroll, compute wages, and ensure that employees' pay is timely and accurate. This role supports the Senior Payroll Manager and is the first point of contact for employees in matters of time, attendance, and payroll. This position is a member of the Finance department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain accurate payroll records within UKG payroll system for multiple company profiles
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll
• Review employee timecards to verify compliance and collaborate with department managers on the timecard approvals
• Import timecard data into UKG from Dimensions and ABI
• Enter other earnings, deductions, garnishments and taxes into UKG
• Maintain UKG integration/import files for third-party partners for 401K, Colorado Secure Savings, Vanguard and other benefits
• Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies prior to processing bi-weekly payroll
• Coordinate with other departments during fluctuations of seasonal staffing
• Review, balance, and audit payroll data post processing
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll wage and hour laws
• Research and resolve payroll tax reporting requirements in multiple states and jurisdictions
• Support the payroll department in payroll related activities, audits, and projects
• Provide required information to third parties and state/local jurisdictions
• Prepare journal entries to adjust accounting data as required by Finance
• Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external payroll-related inquiries
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have 3-5 years payroll experience preferably with a mid-size organization (500-1000+)
• Prefer experience using UKG and/or UKG Workforce Dimensions
• Prefer multi-state payroll processing experience
• Prefer FPC or CPP certification
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
• Attention to detail and analytical abilities
• Able to prioritize and manage time to meet critical deadlines with limited supervision
• Able to handle, maintain, and protect confidential information
• Strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment using excellent verbal and written skills
WORKING CONDITIONS/WORK SCHEDULE:
• Work Monday – Friday, 8 am until 5 pm with occasional evenings and weekends as needed
• Work onsite in a traditional office setting
• Travel: less than 5% of the time
• Light work, mostly sedentary. Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. May need to lift boxes up to 20 pounds on occasion. Must be able to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) and observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

SALARY AND ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION:
• The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $90,000. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, job-related skills, and any other factors the Colorado Rockies consider relevant to the hiring decision for this position.
