Job Description
In the Business Development Senior Analyst role, you will have a multi-faceted strategy and implementation role as part of our CNN International Commercial (CNNIC) division. You will be working on new ventures, articulating strategy, and implementing key initiatives as well as tracking existing business performance. The role supports business development across CNNIC business lines, working closely with Phil Nelson, EVP CNNIC in New York office and the CNNIC Executive Team in London, Paris, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong and Atlanta.

The Senior Analyst will have management reporting line to VP Distribution, based in London. The candidate should be determined to learn, be data-driven, solutions-orientated, resourceful, and adaptable.

Your Role Accountabilities…

You will support key business initiatives from all lines of business; Advertising, Client Solutions, Content Sales, Distribution and other ad-hoc projects and initiatives.

Role will involve:
• Developing business plans for strategic initiatives, including financial models and business case presentations
• Creating well-structured and presented internal briefing documents for EV and Exec Team
• Data analysis to support decision making across business units, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
• Analyzing key market trends and competitor information
• Collaborating across the business (CNNIC, CNN US and WarnerBros Discovery) to understand CNNIC areas of the business, points of interaction with wider organisation and ability to gather key inputs for range of sources to support business development work
• Tracking KPIs for each business unit and evaluating ROI for new ventures
• Developing insights from market information and internally gathered knowledge to support business development strategies to grow revenue and develop CNNIC business for future.

Business Strategy
• Support Senior Leadership and CNNIC Exec team by structuring and drafting internal briefing documents to support strategic initiatives and tracking business performance across all lines of business.
• Collaborate across the CNN and WBD business to gather key inputs required for each project
• Summarise and distil information, to identify key learnings and takeaways
• Provide insights for senior management to ensure effective decision-making
• Track business goals and objectives on a regular basis

New Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships
• Work with Senior Management to maintain and prioritize a pipeline of new business initiatives
• Analyze key market trends, existing business metrics and competitor information to identify growth opportunities with existing business development and new ventures
• Build robust business plans, financial models, strategy presentations and detailed launch and operational plans
• Track ROI for new initiatives and develops strategic insights to optimise operations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the new business initiatives, providing support as required

Qualifications & Experience…

Essential:
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in strategy consulting or investment banking or business development role in a relevant industry
• BA degree required, from a leading institution highly preferred
• Strong Excel skills with a track record of developing business cases and financial models and high-quality presentations
• Proficient in PowerPoint – creation of structured and attractive presentations, sometimes with limited timeframes
• Ability to work as part of a team, but also autonomously
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) – must be comfortable presenting to and working with Senior Leadership and collaborating with colleagues at all levels of organization

Preferable:
• Some experience and understanding of media and/or advertising industry
• Experience of working in a complex, matrixed, global organization
• Experience working in international territories

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $80,500.00 - $149,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
